Ocean Career: Administrative Assistant for Publishing & Marketing

TSC Strategic (TSC), an established publishing and marketing communications agency serving the ocean industries, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day business operations and manage magazine subscriptions and conference communications.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and is comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position located at our office in Stuart, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on a wide range of administrative tasks including external communications
  • Manage administrative tasks related to subscription management including processing orders, create mailing files for distribution, and finalizing print orders
  • Manage conference communications and media partnership agreements
  • Coordinate conference promotions and event schedules for various products
  • Organize and coordinate conference attendance for team
  • Organize conference promotional materials
  • Represent company at selected events
  • Support the editorial team by reviewing and proofing newsletters and website content
  • Support the sales & marketing team by organizing and scheduling digital adverts on company websites
  • Support data collection as needed
  • General administrative tasks including but not limited to expense reports, office supply order, and phone lists
  • Answer and direct phone calls

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
