Coastal Restoration Experts Invited to Submit Content for Upcoming ECO Magazine Special Issue

ECO Magazine (ECO), the marine science publication written by ocean experts and explorers, today announced the call for content and sponsorship for the special ‘State of the Coast’ issue, dedicated to the coast of Louisiana and wider Gulf Coast.

The ‘State of the Coast’ issue is a unique opportunity for those working in coastal restoration, regulation and management in Louisiana to have their work featured in a special, dedicated issue with a large international audience. ECO Magazine invites marine scientists, ocean professionals and policymakers to take part by submitting their press releases, feature stories, video features and photo essays.

The deadline to submit content or apply for sponsorship is October 1, 2018 at 11:55 p.m. EDT.

"This issue aims to not only highlight coastal restoration, management and regulation, but also the people responsible for the ground-breaking work in this field,” said Kira Coley, Senior Editor of ECO magazine. “This special issue will provide the platform for companies, scientists, and engineers to inform an international audience about their work and products that may be unique to coastal restoration.

The State of the Coast issue is made possible through a partnership with the organizers of State of the Coast (SOC), The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL), The Water Institute of the Gulf, and the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana (CPRA). Sponsorships will also be undertaken to support the issue’s important message. ECO Magazine invites organizations to join them and their partners in supporting the ground-breaking work in coastal restoration along the Louisiana coast with an international audience working in this dynamic and growing field.
