Ocean Career: Blue Ventures Fisheries Officer

Blue Ventures is a community-first marine conservation organization. We support coastal fishers in remote and rural communities to rebuild fisheries, restore ocean life, and build sustainable pathways to prosperity.

Our work began twenty years ago in remote coastal communities in Madagascar and is expanding globally. In a dozen countries, we partner with traditional fishers and community-based organizations to design, develop, strengthen, and sustain community-based fisheries management and conservation. We bring our partners together in networks to advocate for reform, and we share tools and best practices to support fishing communities around the world.
