Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with boating and rigging experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of priority Marine Operations projects including system integrations, hull modifications, and product deliveries. The Project Manager will also assist with propulsion system assembly and the design, prototyping, and fabrication associated with system integrations. This role performs project execution and client coordination across the company to include activities such as project resources allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling. Roles & Responsibilities
- Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, adheres to high-quality and safety standards, and meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the various teams involved in the projects and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate project schedule, cost estimates and gross profit analysis.
- Partner with outside OEMs to define scope of requirements, manage purchasing process and ensure execution and accountability.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members.
- Track and update changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs, and report and escalate to technical leadership and/or management as needed.
- Assist in performing risk management to minimize project risks and delays.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of project management experience.
- Boating knowledge and marine industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with project management software and tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and solid organizational skills to enable follow through in a fast-paced environment.
