- Support the development and maintenance of department-wide policy and guidance to address coastal hazards in planning and adaptation strategies;
- Develop cost estimates and tools to improve the resilience of State Parks’ natural resources, built environment, and archaeological resources against threat of sea level rise;
- Conduct site visits, formulate projects and policy setting related to sea level rise; and
- Develop and manage datasets, technical tools, and planning resources to support coastal resilience projects.
The reporting location is 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA, at Headquarters. This position will work under the direction of the Senior Environmental Scientist Supervisor (Coastal Programs).
Salary Range: $7,820.00–10,732.00/Month *New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.
