As an ROV Supervisor, you will lead, support and develop ROV personnel while supervising the operation and maintenance of assigned ROV Systems. You will be responsible for fostering a strong safety culture, promoting clear communication, and ensuring all activities are carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. Leading by example is essential, as you will set the standard for operational excellence, teamwork, and the wellbeing of everyone involved in the ROV operations.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Supervise the operation on assigned ROV systems, and make sure all tasks defined in the work scope are preformed according to internal and external requirements.
- Participate in familiarization and debriefing activities prior to mobilization and demobilizations.
- Carry out pre-dive and post-dive checks, preventative maintenance routines, and ensure all activities, defects, and repairs are accurately recorded in dive logs and system documentation.
We are seeking experienced ROV Supervisors with strong knowledge and understanding of the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ROV and LARS systems.
Requirements
- Minimum (5) five years offshore experience from ROV operations or relevant (Training program can compensate for lack of experience.)
- Previous leadership experience is an advantage, but not mandatory. However, strong interest in developing leadership skills, with the ability to take responsibility for safe and efficient operations is essential.
- Qualified in Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulics our Mechanics.
- Documented IMCA based competence log for ROV Pilot Technician II (Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.)
- Experience within IMR projects is beneficial
- Good knowledge in English, verbally and in writing
