Ocean Career: Fugro Geotechnical Geologist

WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN YOUR JOB

  • Willingness to undertake national and international offshore assignments
  • Support in activities related to project processing and coordination
  • Professional and timely execution, evaluation and documentation of soil mechanics laboratory tests
  • Support with reporting and approval procedures for nearshore and offshore explorations
  • Evaluation and interpretation of geotechnical investigations onshore / nearshore / offshore
  • Coordination of cooperation with other departments as well as with project-related subcontractors or project partners
  • Preparation of project files, task-related documents, presentation of projects, positive and consistent presentation of Fugro and the department internally and externally
  • Control and compliance with occupational health, safety and fire protection regulations (QHSSE)

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

  • Engineering degree, preferably in geotechnology/geosciences
  • Good knowledge of geotechnical issues
  • Responsible, goal-oriented action and clear, emphatic communication
  • You can express yourself fluently, both orally and in writing, in German and English
  • Team player personality and very good communication skills
  • Car driving license
