Your role
- Assist in the mobilization and demobilization of various vessels for offshore survey projects;
- Responsible for the repair, preventative maintenance and testing of equipment offshore as required;
- Assist in performing calibration of survey sensors and equipment conforming to established calibration standards;
- Perform various survey tasks as part of the survey offshore team;
- Complete all logbook, fault reports and administrative duties according to Fugro’s guidelines;
- Support and encourage continuous improvement of the company’s processes, including safety program and quality management system.
What you bring along
- B.Sc. or equivalent in relevant electronics / IT related discipline OR equivalent vocational qualifications;
- You are familiar with or have an understanding of commonly used survey sensors, e.g. GNSS, Gyro, MRU, USBL and ideally MBES, USBL, LBL, INS and Digital Video;
- You have a sound understanding of the principles of real-time positioning, data acquisition and data QC;
- You are experienced in implementation of Preventative Maintenance Systems, fault finding and reporting;
- You are proficient in the use of CAD and online survey software packages;
- You are an excellent communicator with good English language skills (verbal and written) and are able to form good working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
