We are looking for skilled ROV Supervisors to oversee asset integrity projects in our Remote Operations Centre and pilot our electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs) installed on USVs across Europe and Africa. This role is a 5-month fixed term contract based at our Remote Operations Centre in Aberdeen.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise ROV operations within the Remote Operations Centre, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of project deliverables.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to ROV Pilots, including training, mentoring, and performance guidance.
  • Understand project scope, operational requirements, and contractual obligations to ensure effective mission planning.
  • Maintain strong communication through toolbox talks, shift handovers, and coordination with project personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to Fugro’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, promoting a proactive safety culture.
  • Support system readiness, operational planning, and the integrity of ROV assets throughout project execution.

What You’ll Need to Thrive in This Role:

  • Previous experience working as an ROV Supervisor, inclusive of inspection‑class ROV operations.
  • A nationally recognised technical or trade qualification and/or relevant vocational qualification in electrical, electronics, computing, or mechanics.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns of up to 4 weeks in length.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute positively to an inclusive team culture.
