Ocean Career: Intertek Marine Environmental Consultant

Intertek is seeking a Marine Environmental Consultant to manage environmental studies, including environmental impact assessments, across sectors including subsea cables, marine renewables, and offshore oil and gas
As the Marine Environmental Consultant at Intertek, you will be undertaking and managing a range of environmental studies, including EIA, SEA and HRA. It will be varied, across a portfolio of projects and sectors including subsea cables, offshore renewables, and oil and gas – ensuing consultancy solutions that are sustainable, as we transition to a low carbon future.

Required skills and experience:

  • Degree / Masters in a relevant discipline (Environmental Sciences or similar)
  • Demonstrable project management and client account experience
  • Track record of liaison with regulators and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience delivering consenting and environmental assessment solutions in the marine energy/industry sectors
  • Strong technical, analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Additional Desirable Skills:

  • 8+ years’ experience in a relevant discipline
  • Skilled in ornithology, marine mammals or fish and shellfish assessments
  • Experience with energy transition projects
  • Professional Chartership
