If you are a practical person with seagoing experience that is not afraid to work in sometimes challenging conditions, then this might be the role for you. Ideally, you will have a background in marine sampling and a strong interest and understanding of the marine environment. The role is varied and so you will need to be able to move between boat-based and shore-based duties at pace. From assisting with education and outreach activities to coordinating compliance and inputting to research proposals, you will also need to be a strong communicator with proven IT and organizational skills. A full driving license is essential for the role and all training will be provided.
