About the role

The Compliance Support Officer will report to the Senior Internal Audit and Compliance Officer, this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of day-to-day compliance activities, ensuring organisational compliance and supporting delivery of the governance and compliance function.  By taking a proactive and informed approach to compliance, the Compliance Support Officer will support NOC’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and best practices in governance and compliance.

The Compliance Support Officer will support the administrative function of the team, acting as a point of contact for staff queries, overseeing required compliance obligations and supporting policy and audit compliance. The role will help ensure that NOC staff remain informed, equipped, and aligned with the organisation’s legal, ethical, and regulatory obligations.

About you

You’re a proactive and professional individual with a solid understanding of governance and compliance principles and relevant legislation. You’re eager to build on this foundation, bringing a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role.

You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and you’re confident managing multiple priorities under pressure. Your communication skills—both written and verbal—enable you to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders on complex and sensitive matters. You’re comfortable contributing to staff engagement, supporting initiatives, and producing materials tailored to diverse audiences. You value collaboration, maintain confidentiality, and approach your work with curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Location: Southampton or Liverpool

Salary: £35,151 – £38,662
