OAI is a Virginia corporation established in 2003 that provides consulting and technical services to the US government, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, and the private sector. We specialize in scientific program and project management, strategic planning, professional and technical services and stakeholder engagement, supporting government contracts.
Duties, as assigned:
- Review and enter form data for electronic file submissions.
- Answer and respond to tuna import related calls, emails, and voicemails.
- Assist with tuna import documentation compliance by corresponding with industry via telephone, and email.
- Review, compile, and/or file domestic processor monthly reports as assigned, including following up with companies on non-compliance or clarify program requirements.
- Assist with domestic processor documentation compliance by corresponding with industry via telephone and email.
- Participate or assist in TTVP audits or events.
- Assist with the dissemination of TTVP information to the industry.
- Review and develop documents supporting rulemakings and/or briefing papers and background documents.
- Develop outreach materials and participate/support at outreach events.
- Support other IATC seafood trade monitoring programs, such as the Seafood Import Monitoring Program or Highly Migratory Species International Trade Program, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other seafood trade monitoring programs on development of shared databases and projects, as appropriate.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Seven years of related work experience (education beyond high school may be substituted for work experience)
- Familiarity with the TTVP laws and regulations and/or fisheries management regulations or issues.
- Comfort with spreadsheet and database software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Salary and Benefits: This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary is $27.00 to $30.00/hr.
