OAI is a Virginia corporation established in 2003 that provides consulting and technical services to the US government, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, and the private sector. We specialize in scientific program and project management, strategic planning, professional and technical services, and stakeholder engagement, supporting government contracts.
Duties:
- Review and enter form data for electronic file submissions.
- Answer and respond to tuna import related calls, emails, and voicemails, as needed.
- Assist with tuna import documentation compliance by corresponding with industry via telephone, and email as needed.
- Review, compile, and/or file domestic processor monthly reports as assigned, including company follow up in areas of non-compliance or when clarification needed.
- Assist, as needed, with domestic processor documentation compliance by corresponding with industry via telephone and email.
- Participate or assist in TTVP audits or events, as needed.
- Assist, as needed, with the dissemination of TTVP information to the industry.
- Review and develop documents supporting rulemakings and/or briefing papers and background documents.
- Develop outreach materials and participate/support at outreach events.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Seven years of related work experience (education beyond high school may be substituted for work experience)
- Familiarity with the Tuna Tracking and Verification Program laws and regulations.
- Comfort with spreadsheet and database software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary is $27.00 to $30.00/hr.
