Summary Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Communications Intern to support storytelling, content creation, and documentation of our work with coastal communities. This part-time role, based at Blue Ventures Indonesia hub in Bali, offers hands-on experience within an international conservation organization. The intern will collaborate closely with the Senior Communications Manager Asia-Pacific to develop engaging content across multiple platforms, with opportunities for occasional travel to work with overseas colleagues, partners, field teams, and communities.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and knowledgeable about small-scale fisheries, marine conservation, and rural development. They will have strong written communication skills and ideally a background in community-based conservation initiatives. We are looking for someone who embraces innovation, builds effective partnerships, and aligns with Blue Ventures’ mission and values, particularly its commitment to human rights-based approaches to marine conservation and fisheries management.
