Our paid internships are for current university students and graduates who are passionate about marine science and the ocean and want to share their passion with others. Interns receive hands-on experience in youth STEM education, educator professional development, citizen science, community outreach, research vessel operations, digital media & marketing, science communications, photography, filmmaking and/or nonprofit and business administration. ANGARI interns work closely with our employees to gain hands-on experience and become an integral part of the ANGARI team during their internships. Paid internships are in-person only and require working out of ANGARI’s offices located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Our interns are expected to commit to a 3- or 4-month internship depending on time of year (see below) and work on site a minimum of 20 hours per week, plus occasional evenings or weekends. Interns receive a monthly stipend of $1,500. Accommodations are not provided except for when traveling aboard our research vessel. We are interested in all qualified candidates but can only consider those candidates who have valid authorization to work in the United States.
