The global ocean technology community will gather in Southampton in April for Ocean Business 2025—a must-attend show for marine industries.

With less than four months to go, all of the exhibition space has already been sold, with 350 exhibitors booked for what promises to be the biggest event yet, bringing together record crowds from around the world.

Free registration opens in January for the three-day show, to be held at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK, from April 8–10, 2025, and featuring an international roll-call of ocean people.

Ocean Business 2025 will showcase emerging technologies from sector pioneers and game-changing innovators, with familiar big-name suppliers exhibiting alongside newer entrants to the industry.

Visitors will be able to see the most up-to-date equipment in action, test drive products to keep them ahead of the competition, and connect with key industry players in an interactive environment.

Building on the success of previous years, highlights this April include the Training and Demonstration Program, focusing on the latest developments in autonomous vehicles and sensor technologies, with live dockside and onboard demonstrations.

The Ocean Careers program is back, offering students an opportunity to meet potential employers and gain valuable insights from industry professionals.

Ocean Business 2025 will also stage a two-day, free-to-attend conference—on top of a series of associated, on-site meetings—with a line-up of sector experts addressing critical industry issues.

Additionally, Ocean Business will host MARELEC, the world’s only conference dedicated to marine electromagnetics. Delegates will hear from eminent scientists, engineers, and academics about advances in the fields of geophysics, geotechnical engineering, oceanography, and naval warfare.

Both inside and outside the exhibition halls, there will be plenty of networking opportunities, with formal and informal social events, including the popular Wine Trail, ensuring exhibitors and visitors can connect around the clock.

Ocean Business regulars have described the biennial event as ‘pivotal’ in the ocean industry calendar and ‘one of the most vibrant professional get-togethers of the year,’ with more than 4.800 visitors from 59 countries in 2023.

Cheri Arvonio, Event Director at show organizer Diversified Communications, said Ocean Business offered a unique backdrop for doing business and hearing industry updates.

“We are thrilled with the response to the latest edition of Ocean Business and can’t wait to welcome back the international ocean business community to Southampton in April.

“The exhibition and conference have gone from strength to strength, and we are confident that this year’s event will deliver another dynamic three days of cutting-edge creativity and commercial opportunities. As the countdown begins, excitement is building already for what promises to be a truly memorable show.”
