New Waterproof Sunlight Readable Touch Screen, Suitable for Any Environment

TRU-Vu Monitors, Inc has just released a 17” waterproof sunlight readable panel-mount touch screen monitor designed to operate in nearly any environment. The new SRM-HTRWP-17C features 1000 nits of brightness, enabling it to be used both outdoors in direct sunlight, and indoors where bright lighting is present.

The 5-wire Resistive touch screen provides the monitor with the ability to control processes, machines, kiosks, and more. Wide operating temperatures of -22° to +185°F enables use of the monitor in both hot and freezing environments. The waterproof stainless-steel panel-mount enclosure enables it to be flush-mounted into a wall, door or cabinet. It is resistant to wash-down, saltwater, and rain.

The new SRMHTRWP-17C features an ambient light sensor, which adjusts the screen brightness automatically. It also has auto re-start after power loss. The monitor also fea-tures our exclusive TRU-Tuff treatment to ensure maximum shock and vibration resistance. The monitor is also backed by our full 3 Year Warranty.

The SRMHTRWP-17C is perfectly suited for use in all types of military, law enforcement, and marine applications on ships, airplanes, helicopters, and cars, trucks, and specialty mili-tary vehicles.
