Ocean Career: Palau International Coral Reef Center Junior Researcher

PICRC is Palau’s leading research Center, with the mission to be a Center of Excellence that produces high quality and impactful research, education and opportunities to support the stewardship of Palau’s ocean resources.

PICRC is looking for a Junior Researcher to join its new program on coral restoration at the Palau Aquarium. This Junior Researcher will join a team that includes Palau Aquarium, Stanford University and The Nature Conservancy, Micronesia and Polynesia, to support coral restoration in Palau. The Junior Researcher responsibilities includes conducting experiments, doing coral restoration field work and training community members in coral restoration techniques.

This position requires a minimum of an Associate Degree and experience working in marine related field.

Salary: $23,537 plus generous fringe benefits
