As a SeaSim Aquarist you will be involved in general cleaning, operation, optimization, and maintenance of experimental aquarium systems and associated equipment within the Seawater Precinct. You will also facilitate both long- and short-term holdings of reef organisms by providing industry leading husbandry practices including the production and provision of live feeds.
About You
Underpinning your suitability for this role will be your Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science, Biology, Ecology or similar, along with your experience working with aquarium and/or aquaculture systems. You have experience in the husbandry and maintenance of coral reef associated organisms and you have a positive, can-do attitude which will contribute to the success of the team.
Experience in the operation, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation for water quality analysis and previous reef keeping experience would be highly desirable.
