Duties:
- Oversee field technicians, lead field research studies for escapement estimates, harvest estimates, and larval distribution
- Develop contract budgets and statements of work
- Supervise project personnel
- Represent the tribes at regional fisheries-related coordination meetings and working groups
Requirements
- Master of Science in Fisheries Science or a closely related field and three years’ job-related experience or Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Science or a closely related field and five years of job-related experience
- Project management and supervisory experience necessary
- Extensive knowledge of:
- Fishery management principles
- Data analysis, statistics and population dynamics
- Project management methods and techniques
- Budget preparation and management
- Federal permitting requirements
Salary: $46,443.00–$58,600 DOE
