You bring curiosity, precision, and a passion for advancing ocean conservation through eDNA research!

What You Will Be Doing

Program Assistance

  • Supporting the processing and analysis of environmental DNA samples (e.g., extracting DNA, quantifying DNA, and running gels with DNA products) for a variety of WHAM projects to meet the Whales Initiative’s annual deliverables and 2030 goals.
  • Supporting sample processing and report writing for eDNA service contracts.
  • Assisting with maintenance of inventories for the eDNA lab as required.
