About The Role
This is a Fixed Term post for 4 months working 17.5 hours per week.
The Marine Biodiscovery Network Initiative is a collaborative project between Higher Education Institutions and enterprises in Ireland and Wales, funded by Agile Cymru. The initiative focuses on advancing marine biodiscovery through research and innovation, with an emphasis on developing and commercializing marine-derived compounds.
We are seeking a Project Officer to support the delivery of key project activities, including a series of online meetings and an in-person grant-writing session in Dublin (November 2025). The successful candidate will play a central role in managing logistics, facilitating communication across the consortium, and supporting the development of future funding proposals.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 – A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1-hour course.
Salary range: £34,132 to £38,249 per annum
