In this role you will:
- Deliver numerical modelling tasks on coastal hazards and hydro-/morpho-dynamic processes.
- Process and interpret data; produce technical reports.
- Support project planning, logistics and client engagement.
- Work closely with Senior Research Consultants and academics.
- On-site working is required 3 days per week. A full manual driving licence is essential.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Right to Work in the UK for the full contract.
- MSc in coastal science/engineering, oceanography, environmental science or related field.
- Experience with coastal/marine modelling tools (e.g., SWASH, SWAN, Delft3D, XBeach, SFINCS).
- Strong MATLAB/Python skills and experience with QGIS.
- Excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in fieldwork, technical report writing, data analysis, or consultancy/research environments.
Salary: £35,608 to £38,784 per annum
