Position Overview
The company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented writer to join our editorial team. The successful candidate will work closely with our writing team and staff scientists to write and publish technically accurate articles focused on environmental measurements and monitoring applications. Remote with in-office opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistent Contributions: Publish 1-2 articles online each month.
- Supplemental Research: Candidate must be detail-oriented and motivated to do additional research to support writing efforts.
- Project Organization: Manage multiple writing projects and communicate with the Managing Editor and article sources consistently.
- Monthly One-on-One: Meet monthly or as needed with the Managing Editor to organize projects and review priorities.
Required Qualifications And Skills
- Education: Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Writing or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Past experience in writing online and print magazine articles (preferred).
- Other Skills:
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
