In July 2025, EvoLogics celebrated a milestone anniversary, marking 25 years of development in subsea communication, positioning, and autonomous robotic systems. Headquartered in Berlin, with a US office in Yorktown, Virginia, the company has developed a portfolio of technologies that support complex underwater operations.

At the core of EvoLogics’ products is the patented S2C spread-spectrum communication technology that enables reliable bidirectional links with integrated positioning, broadcasting, and networking. The company offers acoustic modems for short-, mid-, and long-range applications, as well as USBL, LBL, and hybrid positioning systems, which can be integrated into custom underwater networks. Its autonomous vehicles and platforms, including the Quadroin AUV and Sonobot 5 USV, can operate seamlessly within this ecosystem.

In-Field Force Multiplication

Launched in 2024, the Diver Navigation System is the latest addition to EvoLogics’ product family. It provides real-time tracking, mapping, and communication for professional diving teams, enhancing safety and task coordination through map-based navigation, waypoint setting, and text messaging between divers and the surface crew. The diver tablet features an underwater camera, so team findings can be documented with visual reference. From urgent response operations to environmental monitoring and cleanup, the system can support a wide range of underwater missions.

Leveraging system synergies, in 2025 EvoLogics added a USBL configuration for the Sonobot 5 USV. Equipped with a submersible USBL antenna, the vehicle acts as a mobile surface node for the Diver Navigation System, following diving teams to keep acoustic trackers within range.

A Growing Footprint

Scaling technologies requires scaling production: just in time for its anniversary, EvoLogics completed a new purpose-built production facility at WISTA Adlershof Technology Park. Phase two of the headquarters expansion, the building is hosting serial production lines for the entire product portfolio. This additional capacity of its Adlershof campus will enable EvoLogics to accelerate manufacturing timelines and advance its development pipelines.
