UCalgary Takes Delivery of LISST-200X for In Situ Particle Measurements

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) has taken delivery of Sequoia Scientific’s LISST-200X particle size analyzer at their Department of Geoscience.

The LISST-200X is designed for providing in situ particle measurements in both fresh and saltwater environments. Associate Professor and Director of Environmental Science Programs, Dr. Dan Shugar will be using the instrument for quantifying sediment transport in glaciated mountain environments across western North America.

Sequoia’s local distributor, Hoskin Scientific, supported the effort and has worked for years with UCalgary on a variety of instrument related sales.
