TDI-Brooks Upgrades RV Brooks McCall to Ensure Environmental Regulations Compliance

TDI-Brooks has announced it is upgrading the diesel engines on the RV Brooks McCall to ensure compliance with the regulations the California Air Resources Board (CARB) set forth. Brooks McCall is a Jones Act-complaint multi-use vessel suited for various comprehensive site investigation surveys and research duties.

TDI-Brooks prioritizes environmental concerns because it is dedicated to helping its clients achieve CARB compliance. Attaining CARB compliance will allow TDI-Brooks to ensure and uphold healthy air quality, safeguard the public from exposure to air pollutants, and offer innovative solutions for adhering to air pollution laws and regulations.

In a significant advancement in the country’s renewable energy sector, plans are underway to deploy the RV Brooks McCall along the US West Coast in May/June 2025. This initiative will provide TDI-Brooks’ geotechnical expertise to multiple offshore wind developers in the forthcoming summer. TDI-Brooks is dedicated to advancing the growing offshore wind industry and supporting a range of scientific surveys and military projects.

TDI-Brooks possesses extensive experience in the US offshore wind farm sector over the last three years, operating as many as four vessels along the US East Coast.
