In June 2022, the Norwegian Offshore Directorate published data collected up to 2022. The Directorate is now releasing deep-sea data gathered from 2022 to 2024.

Other data is also being released, including from the Marmine project (2016). This is data collected in the area opened for seabed minerals in the Norwegian Sea and the Greenland Sea (Norwegian only).

Marmine was a research project (Norwegian only) led by NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), with participants from both the industry and the academic community. The project received funding from sources including the Research Council of Norway.
