With over 200 offshore finfish sites in the UK, operating an estimated 2,200 nets, this can be an arduous and time-consuming task. While the technology exists to speed up the operation, the six-figure purchase price represents a considerable—and for many, unattainable—outlay.
The NetJet is designed to be user-friendly right from initial installation, with every aspect of the technology having been designed to make net cleaning as safe and straightforward as possible. The system is full controllable using radio remote control or a local 9” LED control panel which has been specifically developed for the NetJet.
With its easy access to key service and maintenance areas, the NetJet is straightforward to maintain, which minimizes downtime. The user-friendly ‘plug and play’ system is easy to install and adaptable for all net cleaning systems.
Managing Director of Brimmond Tom Murdoch, said: “Renting our NetJet product allows smaller businesses to clean aquaculture nets as quickly and efficiently as possible, without the high CAPEX costs of buying the equipment outright, helping them to thrive in the aquaculture sector.
“We work closely with clients to establish vital details such as vessel footprint, location, and deck fastenings, connections, and fittings. Our ongoing customer service is second-to-none, and we are always on hand to provide technical support and spare parts.”
The NetJet is also available to purchase, and can be configured to your exact specification, with options including diesel engines or electrical motors. Brimmond have invested in a fleet of specialist vans maintaining a stock of critical spares which can be rapidly deployed to provide clients with technical support and maintenance.
Brimmond will be exhibiting at Stand A50 at Aquaculture UK in Aviemore on May 14–15, 2024, with a display of the NetJet equipment.
