Marisa N Now Supporting Pollution Response in Adriatic Sea

The Marisa N vessel has been successfully accepted into stand-by service. The oil tanker contracted by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) from the consortium RTI Castalia-Giuliana Bunkeraggi performs bunkering operations in the vicinity of Trieste, Italy and has a oil recovery capacity of 1,562 m3. The pollution response equipment comprising two sweeping arms, two 250 m single point inflation booms, a brush skimmer, high capacity skimmer and oil slick detection radar will be permanently installed on board.
