Offshore Wind Partnering Forum to Stage Live, Pier-Side Demonstrations

The Business Network for Offshore Wind will present demonstrations of state-of-the-art technologies available to the offshore wind industry 25-28 September in Baltimore, MD. Technologies include a range of marine applications developed for offshore and onshore marine infrastructure projects, including:

 

• Geophysical survey, instrumentation, and data processing
• Multi and single beam hydrographic survey
• Autonomous – surface and underwater vehicles
• Underwater imaging systems
• Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) remote sensing
• Fish and marine life avoidance systems
• Drone applications – construction, wind turbine, and blade inspection

The forum is attended by C- Level participants from leading offshore wind companies, as well as manufacturing, transportation, maritime, engineering and construction industries.The event is intentionally kept to a manageable size to facilitate networking and business connections, which often lead to business transactions both in and out of the offshore wind industry.
