Oil Pollution and Environmental Technology Company, Vikoma International Limited, has assisted in the oil spill response equipment supply for the new Finnish Coastguard Vessel, Turva, along with Mobimar Ltd. The vessel, which is owned by the Finnish Border Guard, will provide an efficient solution to oil recovery operations, due to its dynamic and versatile design and various on board oil recovery equipment.
Equipped with 800m of Vikoma oil containment boom, four Vikoma boom reel, and the Mobimar in hull integrated recovery system, FinnSweep®, along with other oil recovery systems, provides a recovery capacity of over 1000 sq m.
