All winning images will be featured in the 2016 CARIS calendar, which is distributed to mapping and charting agencies, port authorities, survey companies and academic institutions around the world. In addition, visitors to the CARIS website will see the calendar images and some past submissions have been published on the front cover of prestigious GIS, science and engineering journals. The deadline for submissions is 25 September 2015.

All winning images will be published giving full credit to the submitting organization, the overall winner will receive a 3D printed model of their image provided that the dataset was also submitted. If a dataset is not available a mounted copy of the winning image will be provided.
