Klein Marine Systems, Inc., a leading supplier of side scan sonar, bathymetry sonar and waterside security and surveillance systems, seeks qualified candidates to fill an open Director of Sales & Marketing position reporting directly to the GM.
Description:
• Responsible for the marketing and sales of Klein
• Create and execute multi-year business development strategies and build/maintain a high performance team
• Plan and implement sales, marketing and product development programs
• Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing conditions
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
• Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
• Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs
• Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products
• Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships, and negotiating and closing deals
• Prepare reports showing potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion
• Develop strategies to allow the company to enter open space in new and existing market places.
• Maintain and build strategic customer relationships through frequent senior-level customer interaction
Basic Qualifications:
• BS/MS Technical or Business degree
• Wide range of technical knowledge; undersea acoustics knowledge a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience; 5 years of management experience
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
