Nortek Expands Its Operations in Australasia

Nortek welcomes Yarran Crichton as Director of Nortek Instruments Australia. Yarran has over ten years’ experience in varying scientific roles, including the management of specialist multi-disciplined teams.

Yarran has focused much of his scientific career on oceanography and has worked closely with Nortek for the last seven years in a sales and technical support role in another company. He has a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Deakin University in Victoria, Australia.

Yarran has an extensive knowledge of a broad range of instrumentation, particularly acoustic Doppler technology.

“I have had the pleasure of managing many projects developing real-time, telemetered and integrated sampling systems for long-term programs,” he says.

Nortek’s new recruit in Australia hopes to be an asset to Nortek’s international team.

“My focus now is to help bring Nortek’s high standard for sales, customer service and support to the Australia and New Zealand region,” Yarran says.
