With both projects already underway, the first onboard the Ocean Valiant will run until March 2018, while the second project on the Maersk Gallant jack-up rig is due to be completed in July 2017.
TWMA is providing its EfficientC® skip and ship solution for both projects, and includes TWMA’s newly developed Air Transfer System. The Air Transfer System has been designed as a primary method for safely transporting drill cuttings from the shakers to various discharge points on board. A vacuum hopper then discharges the drill cuttings into skips, which are then transferred onshore for treatment, reuse or disposal of the drill cuttings.
