Seagriculture EU 2026 to Take Place in Gothenburg, Featuring Exclusive Site Visit to Nordic SeaFarm

Seagriculture EU 2026, one of Europe’s leading conferences for the seaweed industry, will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 16 - 18 June 2026. The 2026 edition promises a dynamic program, featuring an exclusive site visit to Nordic SeaFarm on 16 June 2026 - offering participants a behind-the-scenes look at one of Europe’s most innovative seaweed hatchery, cultivation and processing facilities.

The site visit will include a full-day experience:

  • A boat tour to Nordic SeaFarm’s cultivation site in the scenic Grebbestad archipelago
  • A visit to the company’s hatchery/processing facilities in Strömstad
  • A stop at Tjärnö Marine Laboratory to get insights from the University of Gothenburg’s Department of Marine Sciences on their current seaweed research
