Intertek Supports Welsh Water’s Largest Coastal Investigation Project

Intertek will lead modeling and compliance for the largest ever coastal investigation for Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW).

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW) is investing over £8 million in scientific investigations at 49 coastal sites around Wales. The work will investigate a range of water quality issues at bathing and shellfish waters and will help to target investment to support environmental outcomes. Intertek Energy & Water has been invited to lead the modeling and compliance investigations for the work and will be providing numerous innovative techniques and a state-of-the-art assessment method.

Intertek will be work with the DCWW Capital Delivery Alliance, comprising of Mott MacDonald Bentley and joint ventures between Morgan Sindall/Arup and Skanska/Arcadis, supporting a field data collection program designed to ensure that data are suitable for model calibration and compliance investigation.
