India is at a critical juncture in the development and implementation of a National Oil Spill Response Policy, where ‘synergy’ is crucial for crafting a win-win solution for all stakeholders, which will ultimately ensure effective marine environmental protection. The Oil Spill India (OSI) conference and exhibition provides an industry forum to deliberate and collaborate on response frameworks for oil discharges in the region. As an industry led event, it acts as a forum for governments, regulators, industry, academia, and response organizations to discuss, deliberate, share and learn the best practices, technologies, and experiences of spill management. Launched in 2011, it is unique for being held in India and has become a frontrunner in bringing global experts under one roof.
The fourth edition of this global conference and exhibition will be held 11-12 August 2016 in Mumbai (also known as Bombay), India. The theme this year is Commitment, Synergy, Excellence.
