Marine Instruments Buyers' Guide

Welcome to the 2026–2027 Marine Instruments Buyers’ Guide, eco’s annual one-stop-shop for sensors and instruments that measure the ocean, coastal waters, and the freshwater systems that feed them. This year we are excited to catalog more than 600 instruments produced by 84 companies from 14 countries.

The guide is organized into six easy-to-navigate categories: acoustic, chemical & physical, gases, multiparameter, optical, and topside. Each category opens with a specifications table for side-by-side comparison, followed by full product descriptions. Chemical and physical instruments make up the largest category with 192 listings, followed by acoustic with 132 and optical with 117.

Companies can add, edit, or enhance a listing at ecomagazine.com/instruments. Readers can send comments, corrections, or suggestions to editor@ecomagazine.com.
